Terms of Service

1. Service Description

MARV is a life operating system that includes event management, task tracking, AI-powered scheduling assistance, collaborative notes, file storage, and an infinite canvas board. The service is provided by Applied Research Division Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

MARV offers Free, Pro, and Team tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to abuse the service, circumvent rate limits, or use automated tools to extract data. AI features are subject to per-plan usage limits. You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create. MARV retains ownership of the platform, design, and software. You grant MARV a limited licence to process your content solely for providing the service.

6. AI Processing

The AI assistant processes your data to provide scheduling suggestions and contextual assistance. Your data is sent to third-party AI providers for processing and is not used to train their models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Limitation of Liability

MARV is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for data loss, scheduling errors, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via your account settings. MARV may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
